Welcome to 1st Grade!

My name is Kristal Dawn (Jett) Combs and I am now entering my 15th year of teaching!  I taught first and third grades for four years at Beattyville Elementary before transferring to the Breathitt County School system.  When I arrived at MRC, I taught Reading Recovery for eight years and now have been back in the first grade classroom for three years.

On a personal note, I am married to Kenneth "Shorty" Combs, who teaches at Breathitt High School.  We have three sons, Kory Wayne (9 yrs.), Kylan Asher (7 yrs.), and Kenton Kristopher (1 1/2 yrs.).
