Introduction

Hello, my name is Ms. Amy Gabbard-Combs.  I teach 1st grade at Marie Roberts-Caney Elementary.  My son Braxton is an eighth grade student at Breathitt Middle School. I have taught Music, 3rd grade, a 1/2 split,Kindergarten.  When I am not at school I am running to my son's football, basketball, and baseball practices.  I also try to help my Mamaw and dad as much as I can on our family farm.  I really enjoy working with the cattle on the farm.  I used to raise German Shepherd puppies, they were a lot of fun to work with.

Education

I graduated from Breathitt County High School in 1997. I
received an Associates of Arts Degree from Hazard
Community and Technical College. I received my
BA Degree in elementary education for grades K-5  
from Morehead State University . I completed my Masters degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Kentucky University in 2014.
